Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to equipment hire bookings with JAG RENT PTY LTD (ABN 70 695 597 856). It operates together with our Terms and Conditions of Hire (the Hire Agreement).

Cancelling a booking before the hire starts

Contact us as early as possible if you need to cancel a booking. Amounts paid in advance for a booking that is cancelled before the hire period commences will be refunded, less any reasonable costs already incurred for the booking (for example transport or mobilisation costs already committed), in accordance with the Hire Agreement.

How to cancel

Please include your booking reference, name, and hire date.

Changes to a booking

If you need to change your hire dates, contact us and we will accommodate the change where equipment availability allows.

Cancellation or termination under the Hire Agreement

Once a hire has commenced, early returns, termination and any amounts payable are governed by the Hire Agreement, including its minimum hire period provisions. If we need to cancel a booking (for example due to equipment breakdown where no suitable substitute is available), amounts paid for the unfulfilled hire will be refunded.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. See our Refund Policy.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
