Refund Policy
JAG RENT PTY LTD (ABN 70 695 597 856) is an equipment hire business. Refunds are handled in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Hire (the Hire Agreement), which every customer agrees to before taking possession of equipment, and the Australian Consumer Law.
Equipment breakdown or fault
If equipment breaks down or becomes unsafe to use during the hire period through no fault of the hirer, stop using it and contact us immediately on 1300 163 015. In accordance with the Hire Agreement, we will repair the equipment or provide suitable substitute equipment where reasonably possible, and no hire charges apply for the portion of the hire period during which the equipment could not be used.
Bonds and security
Where a security bond is taken (as a card pre-authorisation), it is released on return of the equipment on time and in the condition it was hired, allowing for fair wear and tear. Under the Hire Agreement the customer is responsible for loss, theft or damage to equipment during the hire period, and any amounts payable for repair or replacement are determined and notified in accordance with the Hire Agreement.

Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy or the Hire Agreement excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where a statutory guarantee applies and cannot be excluded, you are entitled to the remedies provided by law.
